Message: "Lenora or Leonora?"

[Opinions] Lenora or Leonora?

At the grocery store this morning, my cashier's name was Lenora. I hadn't really thought of that spelling before, and I'm not really sure which one I prefer. What do you think? Combo ideas?

I prefer Lenora.

I pronounce Lenora and Leonora differently. leh-NOR-ah versus lee-uh-NOR-ah

I like Leonora better. Lenora reminds me of Lenora from the Pokemon games.

Technically, the Portuguese form is Leonor, but I like Leonora better. One of my cousins has a daughter named Leonora.

I place my vote with Leonora. I do, however, prefer Leonore, and also like the Spanish form, Leonor, very much.

Higher still, I swoon at Eleonore.

I prefer Leonora. It "sparkles" more.
