From a young age, Janelle wanted to teach. She had always had a talent for math, and found that she had a knack for getting other people to understand. After tutoring Petra, Janelle decided that there was no reason she shouldn't teach. She went into training, to become a math teacher. Now that she was with a partner with a stable income, Janelle could afford to take the drop in pay.
She passed her training with flying colours, and was quickly snapped up as a math teacher in a local high school. Janelle loves her job, and has risen to the challenge admirably, determined to take the poor math skills her class has started with, and to help her students succeed.
While Janelle was in training, she and Noémi decided to have another child. Noémi carried the baby, and gave birth to a daughter. Ruby Lydia was welcomed into the family. Jude has already promised his mothers that he'll be a good big brother, and is very attached to his new little sister. Petra wasn't so pleased to no longer be the only girl, and has been more clingy towards her parents since the birth. She is getting used to Ruby, and is happier to hold the baby as of lately.
