I like it spelled Arya. Man, I've become SUCH a 'Song of Ice & Fire' geek since I started reading the books. :P

They are different names. Aria is English and Arya is Indian.

I don't mind it at all, but I wouldn't personally choose it.

ARReea? AIReea? AHreea? It sounds OK I suppose, but I don't enjoy Storm, Gale, Cadence or Lyric as names, so it doesn't have much of a chance!

I don't care for it. It sounds kind of snooty to me, but in a trendy way rather than aristocratic. Someone I know who I find snobby named her daughter Aria, and I also have another not so good association with this name.

I think it's beautiful. It reminds me of fairy tales.

I used to kind of like it. Until I was in a class with a girl named Aria and the teacher constantly mispronounced it as "area".

I used to like it a lot even though it's a tad fussy. Now that it's gone trendy, I'm not as enamored.

I like it.
It did increase a lot in popularity during the last year though, but it's a nice name.

I think its really pretty but a bit insubstantial, too light and airy. I think I prefer it as a nickname.

I like Aria, the sound of it, the musical connection. I like the spelling Arya as well, even better I think. Even though it is tryndee, I seem to have a visual attraction to 'y', as long as a decent case for it can be made.
Anyway, it's a good name.
