[Facts] Damina
Hey,
I just wondered if there's anyone that knows where the name 'Damina' comes from? If you do, could you email me (veronica@esatclear.ie)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Nice to see another visitor from Ireland! Have you met Sabine on this board yet?
"Damina" could be a diminutive of any of the following:
1. "Damiana" (Greek): "one who tames or subdues". (PriaposLovs will have to verify this one.)
2. "Dama" (Spanish): "lady; noblewoman".
3. "Damma" (Latin): "a fallow-deer or antelope".

Confirmed, Nan :) "Damazo" means "to tame".
Just make sure she stays out of trouble. Her name, Miss Damina, could buy her some jail time!
