This board is designed for people to ask the opinions of other people, not merely for stating their own opinions without asking for any. It's okay to state your own opinion while you ask for others', but it's annoying when you use the board as a medium to state your own views without apparently caring what anyone else thinks. You are more than welcome to post here, asking questions, but please try not to do this again.

I like the name Scout! I'm glad you like it, too.

I like Scout, if only for "To Kill a Mockingbird". Scout Finch is definitely a memorable protagonist. Good for you for liking your name.

I'm not a huge fan of the name, but it's good that you like it - and the characteristics you described are exactly what I picture when I hear the name Scout. I feel like so many people don't like their own names that it's always refreshing when I hear that someone does, even if I don't particularly like it.

I really like Scout. I like it a lot and I will probably use it as a middle name for a future daughter. As a first name it may not be everybody's taste, but that's names, and I'd rather meet a million Scouts than a Destynee and MacKayla.
