[Opinions] Corinna

I first thought cor-EE-nah, but then I immediately corrected myself to cor-RIN-nah. I think a double "n" would be more likely to get you the middle RIN/IN pronunciation.
I sounds made up personally, I don't care for the hars RIN sound, I prefer the cor-EE-nah pronunciation. :)

My first instinct would be cor-IN-na, which I like much better than cor-EEN-a. I like it. It's pretty, but its not very common. As for the spelling, I think either one with the double n works, although I prefer Corinna.
I really like Corinna, mostly because of the Archaic Greek lyric poet of the same name. Due to the double "n" following the "i," I pronounce the middle syllable so as to rhyme with "bin," not "bean."
I say kor-IN-ah, which gets turned into kuh-RIN-ah when I'm feeling lazy. It's a nice name but will be misspelled (Corrina, Korinna, Korrina, Karinna...) and mispronounced constantly.
Corinna and Korinna both work, but I really don't care for Korinna. All of the -ina spellings should be pronounced cor-EE-nah, not cor-IN-ah.

I always say it "Kor-REE-nah." I've used it on a character for one of my stories.
I really like Corinna and used to be such a stickler for the long e pronunciation because that was closer to the original pronunciation, but then I figured since I didn't care about pronouncing similar-sounding names such as Callista, Melissa, Elissa, etc., with the long e sound, then why should Corinna be any different? I think the IN pronunciation is more user friendly and either Corinna or Korinna should get you there if that's what you prefer as well. OTOH, Corina or Korina lean more towards the long e pronunciation.
