[Opinions] Cedar
So I came across the name Cedar and looked it up here on BTN. I noticed it's listed as a girls name, but it looks more masculine to me.
So what do you think?

I've only ever heard of/seen one Cedar and he was a little boy. So it's definitley masculine for me.
I'd say it's unisex, but I prefer it for a boy. Anyway, I'm not a huge fan of it. Maybe it would work as a middle name.
Huh. I would have pegged it as masculine as well. I like it, but only as a mn.
It looks masculine to me too, but I can see it on a girl (especially a dog. I've known a few dogs named Cedar and I like it as a dog name). For a human, I can see it on a boy more easily than on a girl.
The name Cedar to me sounds masculine. I can picture the name better on a boy than a girl.
I had a friend Cedar growing up and was crazy jealous of how awesome her name is. I still am.
I think it could definitely work on a boy too.

Seems more masculine to me, its a strong name. I think I would only use it as a middle name though.
I think it could go either way. It's a true uni-name, IMO.
I know a sibset of Cedar (girl), Ochre (girl), and Jazz (boy), so it seems more feminine to me.
I love it on a boy. Too masculine for a girl I think.
I agree that it's more of a male name. I like it. It doesn't wow me and I'm one to love even the most ridiculous nature names. If I met someone whose baby was Cedar, I would smile and certainly be delighted, but I don't think I'd use it myself. It's a little too brown if that makes any sense. :)
BTW--your kids' names are absolutely beautiful!
