Oh, it's even more beautiful than I had imagined. I was using a short "i" in the first syllable, silly me, not a long "e" sound. "kee-NEHR-et" is gorgeous. And I like the Kineret spelling better. But it's not in the database. Do you know which one is more "authentic" to the original Hebrew? Which one is more likely to be used in
Israel, one "n" or two (assuming the
Roman alphabet is being used, of course.)
