[Opinions] Re: Tamsin
in reply to a message by Silvie
My best friend as a child was named Tamsen. I love her name, she loved it, people in general loved it. It was unusual but memorable, easy to say and spell and has a nice sound. She always got compliments on it, and nobody called her Tam or Tammy unless they wanted a "glare of doom."
Her parents spelled it with and -en. I don't know if that was a choice they made, or if it's an accepted variation or what. I'm so used to it that way though, and I prefer it because it doesn't include the word "sin" and it seems to have a bit softer sound.
