Help[Opinions] Rowan for a girl
I'm really digging Rowan for a girl more and more these days. I like it for both genders and would use it for a boy as well, but right now, I'm more in favor of using it for a girl.
Combos:
Rowan Ellia - Ellia is my grandmother's middle name.
Rowan Alexandra
Rowan Alexis - I'd usually steer clear of a combo with two unisex names, but since Alexis is so popular for girls, I'm thinking that most people would guess that Rowan Alexis was a girl first.
Rowan Clara - Clara was my great-grandmother's name.
Rowan Theodora
Rowan Mira
Rowan Kira
Rowan Elysia
Rowan Gabrielle
Rowan Adara
Rowan Vera
Rowan Zara
Rowan Lorelei
Rowan Ellia, Rowan Alexandra, and Rowan Alexis are my top Rowan combos right now. I know that Alexis doesn't seem to be all that popular on the boards and is viewed as too trendy, but I've really liked it for years. Its trendiness doesn't bother me nor does the fact that it is also a male name.

I prefer Rowan on a girl. It's stuffy on a boy, but down-to-earth on a girl. I'm not sure why.

I don't really dig Rowan for a girl, sorry. However I can see why people do as there are many feminine names ending in "-an" (Bethan, Rhian, Joan etc). My favourite combo is Rowan Alexandra, if you hadn't suggested it I probably would have. Beautiful.

I love Rowan for a girl, but decided not to use it because it is just too unisex in the UK and I have a male/unisex name and it's been a pain.
I only like Roan or Rohan on a boy.
