[Opinions] Re: Swedish March BAs

Albert (Arthur) - great sibset! They go together well. (Queen Victoria had two sons named Albert and Arthur.)
Alexander x2 - love it, though it is a bit common. I have a lot of Alexanders in my family.
Alfred (Agnes, Stina) - I like Alfred and Agnes. Don't like Stina, though.
Anton (Gustav) - both names are awesome!
August (Signe) - love both names
Dexter (My, Meya) - Dexter will always remind me of Dexter's Laboratory. And My and Meya for sisters? Aren't they a little too close?
Edvin (Linus, Ella) - I like Edwin.
Elis - prefer Elias
Elliot - love it!
Elwin - prefer Edwin
Frank (Seth) - love both of them. They go together pretty well.
Hector - love it!
Hugo x2 - like it, but it still reminds me of Hugo Chavez
Isak - nice
Jonathan Ceasar - This combo doesn't work well. Plus Ceasar is misspelled. I prefer Cesare - one of my Italian great-grandfathers had that name.
Kliff (Lilly, Betty) - Cliff is an old guy name over here. Betty is old-fashioned too.
Liam - yawn
Loke x2 (Theo) - don't like either name.
Mattis - looks kinda like "mantis" to my eyes
Melvin (Alva) - Melvin is considered a stereotypical nerd name over here. Guess Swedes perceive it differently. Alva is nice, thouhg.
Milian - I'm assuming this is a short form of Maximilian. Don't like it.
Noah - okay
Noak - prefer Noah
Olle (Hugo) - not my style
Sixten (Milia) - Where does Sixten come from? It looks like "sixteen" to me. (A little OT, but how do you say sixteen in Swedish?)
Teodor
Viggo (Robin, Nellie) - I love Viggo because I'm a fan of Viggo Mortenson. I'm assuming Robin is a boy here.
Ville - I think this is a Finnish name, but I think it's the French word for village.
William (Oliver) - like both names
Alexandra - love it!
Alice (Isac) - love Alice!
Bella (Ville) - Bella Swan really ruined the name. I still like Isabella, though.
Cassandra (Mathilda, Emanuel) - I love Cassandra! Mathilda is nice too, though I prefer Mathilde or Matilde. My nephew is named Emmanuel - I prefer the spelling with two M's.
Elin (Julia, Linus) - I like all three names, though Linus kinda reminds me of Peanuts.
Elise (Gabriel) - love both names!
Ella - pretty
Ellen x2 (Alicia) - love Ellen! Not keen on Alicia, though.
Elsa (Molly, Maja) - Like Elsa and Maja. Molly was the name of a really rude girl I went to high school with, so I don't like it.
Emilia (Izabella) - love Emilia. Prefer Isabella to Izabella.
Filippa (Tilde, Linnéa, Minna, Lovisa) - love all of these names except Linnea, which isn't my style.
Isabella (Saga, Simon) - love Isabella and Simon. Saga sounds a little silly to my ears, but I guess where you live that isn't the case.
Klara (Axel) - love both names!
Leija - prefer Leia
Linnéa (Lucas) - like Lucas. Linnea isn't my style.
Lova (Meja) - don't care for either name
Lovisa (Milo) - love both names.
Miné - sounds kinda tacky
Moa (Agnes) - Moa sounds strange to me. It's the name of an extinct flightless bird from New Zealand.
Signe (Alve) - Signe is cute. Is Alve a boy or a girl?
Stella - love it!
Love & Lykke (Lucas, Livia) - too many L's.
Alexander x2 - love it, though it is a bit common. I have a lot of Alexanders in my family.
Alfred (Agnes, Stina) - I like Alfred and Agnes. Don't like Stina, though.

Ah, so that's why I thought Albert and Arthur sounded so very royal. I agree that it's great. :)
Melvin is a "cool" (but not very classy) name here, along with names like Kevin, Liam and Milton. (As a broad rule, English names are classy if they were borrowed more than a century ago - Alice, Lilly, John, Henry - but more or less trashy if they were borrowed more recently - Hailey, Nicole, Jimmy, Melvin ...)
Sixten - click it! ;) Sixteen in Swedish is sexton.
Even though Moa is a common name here, I always think of that extinct bird too! Plus it rhymes with the common Swedish word for toilet ... I don't like it very much. ;)
Alve should be a boy.
