All depends on whether you've been there. I'd hate to see anyone name their child after London, thinking it's full of big buildings and Hugh Grant-types.
Personally, I would probably never use London as a FN, as I think it sounds very trendy. However, as a middle name, tucked away on birth certificates and formal stuff, I would possibly use it, for either sex, just to honour London in general. I am very much in love with the place.
