I love this explanation: "Saskia really works for me. It's feminine but not too frilly, not common but not insanely oddball, sharp, spunky and fun." It's exactly how I feel about my girl's favourite Mattea.
I don't mind Saskia. I've had to get over the "Sasquatch" part that I kept hearing at first. But it's a nice name.
I think it could totally work on any age.
Personally, I love Carmen, but the gender-neutrality of Carmen has always made me hesitate.
I've like Carmen Alessandra for a while. Or Carmen Amelia. I want to like Carmen Avery but I just feel like it's too androgynous. :)
