I love Saskia, it's in my top 4. I've never met a Saskia, but I've spotted a few in newspapers and blogs, and definitely think it works. I like Carmen too, but obviously prefer Saskia.
It makes me think of oranges and spices for some reason ... And of the song Saskia by Swedish/Dutch singer Cornelis Vreeswijk (http://youtu.be/PkxLx_KjxJQ). Saskia has a name that chimes ... (first line translated)
Some combos I like are Saskia Ruth and Saskia Theodora.

'Saskia has a name that chimes' is so pretty :3 I'll check out the youtube vid when I have a moment!
