I used to really dislike Piper, too. I even met a little girl named Piper whom I really disliked as well. It's really awful of me to say I dislike any child. Really, I love children. I had my reasons. But once I got to know her, I ended up realizing that the things I disliked about her weren't her fault, and I ended up having a total soft spot for her. The name grew on me, too.

So long story short, I experienced pretty much the same thing as you. I wouldn't use the name either, but I still think it's sweet. This girl's name was Piper Rose, and even though the Rs kind of blend together, I thought the combo was cute.
