It's my grandma's name, but I really like it. I'm not sure if it will make a comeback, but it should-it's short, sweet, strong, and spunky, all at the same time.

This is my only association with the name and one that I just cannot overcome, I think Lois is very pretty but I couldn't use it myself.

I like Lois. It's succinct, sassy, and sweet. It's a little flat-footed on first glance but after some thought I decided it had a certain kind of delicacy about it that I really liked. Maybe I'm used to seeing it in a kind of utilitarian way - like as a "mom" name, paired with something sensible and pedestrian, but I think it has potential to be cool again.
