Charlie, Liam, and Maddie are in preschool, and loving every minute of it. They have a wonderful teacher, Miss Hannah, and a lot of friends. Isabelle is currently staying home with Lexa and Seb, but when Seb is old enough to go to daycare, Isabelle will go back to her job as a third grade teacher. Daniel is a pediatrician, working at the local office. The triplets go to preschool 5 days a week for three hours, 9-12. Then Isabelle picks them up, and they go home to eat lunch. After lunch, they take a nap, or have quiet time in their room. Today, they're having Mac and Cheese for lunch. As soon as the triplets get in the car, they start babbling about their days. "Mommy, can I have Julia over to play tomorrow?" "Guess what! We made rocketships today!" "I fell off the swing and had to get a bandaid!" She responds to each in turn. "I'll call Julia's mom and ask if it's alright for her to come over, okay Maddie?" "Oh wow! Did you bring them home with you, Charlie?" "Oh Liam, are you okay, where did you get hurt?" They respond. "Okay!" "No, they still have to dry! We painted them!" "On my leg. It was bleeding, but it doesn't hurt anymore." They arrive at their house, and the triplets jump out of the car while Isabelle unhooks Lexa and helps her out of the van, and picks up Seb's carseat. Maddie runs to her and Lexa's room to change into play clothes. Isabelle insists that she wear a dress to school most days, as do most her female classmates' mothers, but when she gets home, she changes into more comfortable clothes. She changes out of the pink dress, and into some leggings and a purple shirt with a heart on it. Charlie and Liam run to their room and change out of the khakis Isabelle made them wear, and into sweatpants. Black for Liam, red for Charlie. Then they run to the kitchen for lunch. "Did anything else exciting happen at school? I heard yesterday that there would be a new girl in your class." "Oh yeah!" Maddie exclaims. "Her name is Alexandra, like Lexa, but she said to call her Alex." "Oh? What is Alex like, Maddie? Is she nice?" "Yeah, she's awesome, and she likes Barbies and princesses, but she liked playing with the doctor stuff with me and Julia the most!" "Really? Maybe you all can become good friends!" "Yeah!" "Okay guys, time for quiet time!" "Aww! Can't we have a few more minutes?" "You can play after you have an hour of quiet time in your rooms." "Okay." They all say as they trudge to their rooms. They all try to fight it, but eventually, they all drift off to sleep.
