[Opinions] Caius
Some weeks ago I asked your opinion on Gaius. You pointed out that it would remind people of the word "gay" which is not exactly a good association, so I've decided to drop Gaius. Still, I like its variant, Caius; not as trendy as Kai, not as 80s-female as Kay. It has ancient Roman connections, which is good. However, it is hard for me to come up with mns. As you've noticed, I like to pair slightly unusual fns with better known or classic mns. Here's what I came up with:Caius Tate - I like this one best, but I don't feel that click in my mind that usually tells me when I've found the perfect combo
Caius Elliot
Caius HenryJust so you know, my favourite combos areNoel James
Jude Arthur
Nigel Atticus for boys, andMira Clementine
Leia Alice
Nora Estelle for girls.Edit: lie --> like :-)

All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again.

Caius is great! I think I like Caius Henry the best of your combos, although Caius Elliott is nice either.Caius Tate doesn't sound quite right.BTW, I love Mira Faith, Clara Pearl, Jude Arthur & Ian Phineas : )

I love Caius. Caius (or Kaius) is used in Finland.I would pair with Caius with a traditional and long name. Caius Benjamin, Caius Jonathan, Caius Anthony, Caius Alexander, Caius Daniel, Caius Gabriel, Caius Jeremy, Caius TimothyFrom your suggestions, I like Caius Henry best.I really like your favorite names."But it’s all right now.
I learned my lesson well.
You see you can’t please everyone
So you got to please yourself."

I like Caius, though Roman-type names are very yuppie-trendy at the moment. (Sebastian being the worst culprit, then the rarer Lucian etc.)Caius Tate - Lovely sound but a bit of an odd pairing. Caius is a return to the ancient, and Tate is the opposite: modern American.Caius Elliot - A bit awkward to say. Again, I think the middle name is too modern for the first name.Caius Henry - Really handsome. Henry is a bit dull but works here because the fn is unusual._____________________________________________________________________Elinor
