Six rather uneventful years have gone by. Nana Penny is still doing her grandmotherly duties, though she's starting to slow down a little bit. Jack is still working full time, and Laura is a full time mommy. Henry, now 16, has his first girlfriend--a longtime friend named "Kat". Kennedy, Micah, Mason, and Lydia are all doing well. The family recently adopted a second dog--this one a Great Dane named Mouse. Mouse is a sweet-tempered dog, even though he's enormous. Lydia and Mason love having a dog that's bigger than they are, and the older boys enjoy playing with him in the backyard. Zeus is getting older as well and, while he doesn't run around like he used to, has been known to roll around on the floor wrestling with Mouse.
