It has been five years. Jay and Hayley thought that their family was complete, but after one of Hayley's sisters adopted a child from Haiti, Jay and Hayley saw what a joy that could be. They talked it over with Jamie and Annie, who thought that it would be awesome to have a sibling from another country. It took nearly two and a half years to get all the paperwork processed, but the Nicholas family recently adopted a three year old boy from Nigeria. His name is Olukayode. He did not have a middle name, so Jay chose to give him the name Joshua as a middle name. Olukayode now goes by "Ode" (pronounced "O-day").
