The birth of Bea Akiyama-Poe was unexpected but welcome nonetheless. Leander and Emmie had briefly discussed having children a number of times before, but hadn't expected to become parents for a good couple of years yet. Nonetheless, Bea's birth wasn't overly inconvenient either, and they soon agreed that they were ready for their change in lifestyle. Emmie was concerned that she wasn't ready to be a parent just yet, but as the due date drew near, her concerns lessened. Bea was born a few days later than expected, in an uneventful birth. They decided to call her Tabea-June as they were unable to decide between the two names. Both Leander and Clemency spoil their new arrival, even though they know they shouldn't.
