[Opinions] Maura
I dreamt about the name Maura last night. Pronounced MAWR-uh (can also be pronounced MOW-rah in the Latin form).

I think it's okay.
I think Maura is lovely and understated.
I like it a lot. It's very similar to my name (Laura), and I've always found it a darker, crimson, more mysterious side to my name, which is straightforward and green. Maura has a very humble class and sophistication that I really love. I wish it weren't so awkward, as I could see having a Maura and a Nora and being *that* Laura who just *had* to go there.
I live in Boston, so I know about 5 million of them. It's kind of lost its charm for me, but it's a pretty enough name, I guess. Outside of the northeast I think it's pretty rare.
