Help[Opinions] Melody?
Opinions on this name please? Do you group it with names such as Destiny and Neveah? For me I used to consider it like that but a lot of my friends and family recommended it to me because I liked Elodie so much, now I'm in love with Melody but am worried what society thinks about it. The combo I would use is Melody Marie - Marie is a varient of my mother's middle name - I'm not really bothered about the alliteration at all.

Not tacky at all, I love this name.
Melody Faye would be my first choice if I would use Melody (to bad we can't have more kids, and there are many M names in my family)

I love it, and no, I don't group it with Destiny or Neveah. I think it's a sweet, humble sort of name, not tacky like the other two.

No I don't think it is tacky. I first heard the name 20 years ago. I do lump it with Melanie because it gets confused easily with it but not with those other word type names.

Uhm no. I don't really group it with any names. It's my favorite name right now. If you prefer Elodie you should use it, with the English pronunciation it works fine in the US. Elodie Marie sounds much better than Melody Marie. But I don't have a problem with the alliteration. My favorite is Melody Elise.
