1. What are everyone's general thoughts on the name Maisie / Maisy?
I like it. I used to hate it, tbh, thinking it too babyish to be borne, but I've warmed up to it a lot. The main character of a series I love is named Maisie, and thinking of it in relation to this capable, independent, and intelligent woman has sort of changed how I view the name.
2. Which spelling do you prefer? Maisie or Maisy and why?
Maisie. Maisy looks misspelled to me and makes me think of the storybook mouse.
3. Do you think the name would sound a little odd with a middle-eastern surname? We live in Australia by the way and always have to correct people on the pronunciation of the name.
I think it would be fine.
4. Do Jasper and Maisie / Maisy sound alright for siblings?
They're great together.
5. Last question - Which combo sounds better, Maisie Rose or Maisie Rosa?
I want to say Maisie Rosa because Maisie Rose doesn't do a thing for me, but I really don't care for Rosa.
