They are all a-LAN-a to me ("a" being a schwa).
I knew an Alana (a-LAN-a) growing up, who'd be 41 now. She was tall and friendly, long dark hair, gave me a good impression of the name. I don't think it's dated or boring. I prefer Liana for a name with a similar impression - Alana is pretty dominant seeming to me (that's not a negative, but Liana has more appeal for me, on paper at least).
I prefer Alana. Alanna looks like Al+Anna. The H on the end is trendy looking to me. It's Alan+a after all, and might as well look it IMO.
If someone said ə-LAH-nə I would probably assume it was spelled Elana.
