[Opinions] Cousin had twins...
And I'm not crazy about their names, but I guess they could be worse too. Lily Kay
and
Laila JessieI only like Laila and I would have preferred Layla (a la Eric Clapton).
ETA: They had a son a year ago who passed away in infancy named James Homer.

I don't mind their names at all, but also would have preferred Layla.

I like Lily and Laila, but I think they're too close for sisters. Lily Kay is pretty.I also like James.

I love James Homer and Lily Kay.Laila Jessie I'm not really feeling. Laila and Jessie just don't match to me.

I like both names a lot, well I like Lily more placed next to beautiful Laila. I prefer this spelling because it looks more Arabic. They are pretty close sounding, but it could be worse. I don't like how nickname-y the mns are, but a lot of people don't pay any attention to mns. *shrug*

Lily Kay is cute - it would have been nice as a double barrelled first name. Laila spelt like that nor Jessie do anything for me and the name's are just too similiar imo

I agree on Laila. I prefer Layla because I feel like Laila could be confused with Lilah in pronunciation. I'm not a big fan of the middle names. Are they honoring? They sound a bit dated (no offense!). Lily is cute; uber-popular, but cute. James Homer is a pretty cute name, too.
They must be thinking of him a lot right now with two new little ones.

I think all of the children's middle names honor grandparents or great-grandparents.

Meh, they're okay. I like Lily Kay, and Laila is nice.

I'm not wild about the spelling of Laila and would have preferred Leila / Layla Jessica. In addition, I can only imagine how tongue-twistingly awkward it will be to call Lily and Laila to dinner. OTOH, it could have been much worse.

I hate that they named them such similar names. I don't like twin names that even start with the same letter much less the double L sound. Too much if you ask me.

I agree with you; I only like Laila. My name is Alaylah and my nn is Layla but I've always wanted to spell it Laila. The Young & The Helpless
