[Opinions] Braden & Brandon

Like the name Braden but nephew is Brandon.....do you think this is too similar? Or can you recommend something else (preferably similar to Braden but not Brandon)

I don't think Braden and Brandon are too similar. For brothers, yes, but not for cousins. Other suggestions (forgive any repeats):Graydon

Hmm. I don't think it's too similar-- they both start with "Bra" but the a is pronounced differently in each name. And they both end with d_n, but I don't think they're too similar. The "ay" and "and" stand out in these names, and differentiate them. Although I think Braiden is better than Braden, because Braden makes me want to say "Brad in" instead of "Bray-den").

Braden and Brandon are too similar, even for cousins. I would suggest Brendan, but that's even closer to Brandon than Braden is. :-/ So how about:Bryson

I think they're too close, but since they aren't brothers, it's not that big of a deal.Other ideas:

They *do* sound a lot alike, but they are not the same name. Go for it.

It would be too close for brothers, but nor for cousins. My mother's name is Anne and her first cousin is Anna, and they've never had any issues.I like Braden as well. Some similar names: Brennan, Brady, Aiden/ Jayden/ Hayden etc.

I think Braden & Brandon might be a little too close for cousins, but if you like it then go for it. Similar options are Brady or Brody. Some other names:Brogan
