I also have started to like it since watching The Big Bang Theory. I used to think Bernadette was a really frumpy old fashioned name (it's my grandma's middle name), but since the character is only young, I am finding it more useable now.

It's quite hard to come up with middle names though, and I don't like any of the nicknames, like Bernie or Ettie.
