Arabella is frequently in and out of my top 10. I don't think I'd actually use it for a child, but I do love it. The popularity is a concern but I don't think she'd ever be in the top 100. I too dislike all the nicknames but Arabella has four syllables so I'm thinking its very likely to get shortened to something.
