I don't know about common but it's pretty trendy and dull. I can't really find anything appealing about it. It reminds me of the words braid and bray and of Ian Brady, an infamous murderer in the UK.

No, just Brady. Apparently it's popular in the US but I've never met or even heard of a Brady so I don't have any other associations with it! Ian feels like a typical name for a middle aged man, I know quite a few.

Not even with the surname Brady? It is rather common, so Brady feels like a typical surname to me.
