I've heard two different ways. So how do YOU pronounce it? Thanks in advance.

Out of all the pronunciations I like lis-SAN-der best. That's how I first thought to pronounce it when I saw it. I don't like lie-sander at all. I think Lysandra would be pretty too. (I actually think that I like this better than Lysander.) ~Arie~

The only way I've ever heard it is the way it's pronounced in the English folk song, "The British Grenadiers". In that, it's lie-SAN-der.

I've hear that song over and over never know what the words were but know now that I've looked them up I do remember hearing them before I believe it was on a children's music tape that I used to listen to a long time ago and the man did say lie-sander! :)

And, this is how my Shakespeare class pronounces it. I wonder how the majority of other people pronounce it. I just don't like the possible teasing nickname of "lice" that goes along with this pronunciation.

Oh, well I don't really accent the 'lice' part of it, I do it more in two parts lie-sander not like lice-ander! :) I think lie-sander is how most people pronounce it though I'm not at all sure! :)
