We live in Canada on Prince Edward Island. Samuel is one of the few specialized surgeons in the area so his job is quite demanding. My job is pretty hard too, I keep house.
Year 1
Random. This year I went back to school to earn my Masters degree, I should be done in a year.
Year 2
Pet. Ddog: Dorian
Year 3
Travel. This year we went to Tokyo for two weeks to see Sam's parents.
Year 4
Adoption. This year we decided to adopt from Ethiopia. Her birthday was the day we got her, May 29th. She was a victim of human trafficking, but was rescued by government officials before she was sent off anywhere. She is very lucky. Her English has come a long way and she now has a driver's licence and is working in the grocery store.
ADD: Nia Desta (17)

Year 5
Family Event. We threw a big party for Nia for her eighteenth birthday and one year celibration of our family.
Year 6
Adoption. This year we wanted to adopt again. This time we are adopting fraternal twin girls from Liberia. We are so excited that our family is growing again.

Adoption. This year we are adopting yet again, this time identical twin girls from Guatemala. Their birthday is January 6.

Job. This year we have been experiencing some financial difficulty and Sam had to take on another job as computer techie at the hospital and I am now working in the library and selling avon to make ends meet.
