I love Eve :) it's in my top three. I do fear that Evie might become the new Maddie though... well maybe not THAT popular but I do think it's gaining steam.
I don't actually view Eve as that religious and then even when I consider it in a religious context, I like the reference. Who wouldn't like being named after the very first woman? I just love that it means "life" and I view it as an (obviously) classic name with a lot of spunk and modernity - Eve is strong yet undeniably feminine. I did at one point prefer Eva to Eve but since Eva's gained considerable popularity I lean more towards Eve so I hope it stays under the radar =/
