I like them both. But I think it's kind of weird when people pronounce Johanna without the H. I like it pronounced jo-HAN-a.
If you pronounce it jo-HAN-a I like Johanna better. Simply because I like Hannah better than Anna. I also like Johannah because it makes the pronunciation clearer. I really like Joanna as well. The only thing I dislike about both names is that people could call her Jo.
I know 4 Joannas, 1 Joana, 1 Johanna (jo-HAN-a), 6 Johanna (yo-HUNN-a, all German) and 1 Johannah (like Jo+Hannah).
