[Opinions] Celeb BA
Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley adopted a baby girl a while back, but the name was released today: Adalaide Marie Hope Kelley. She joins older sister Nancy Leigh "Naleigh." Marie is also Katherine's middle name. What do you think? I personally would have preferred Adelaide, but I think it's a pretty nice name.

Three names? Why?

I don't like Adelaide but I would much rather see it than Adalaide. The MNs are beyond boring. I like Nancy Leigh and the meaning behind it - at least, I think there's meaning - isn't it their mothers' names or something? - but Naleigh is silly. Nancy and Adelaide would be a cool sibset.

Apparently, Adalaide is for Katherine’s grandmother, Marie is Katherine's middle name, and Hope is what they needed during this process.Nancy Leigh is named after Katherine’s mother Nancy and Katherine’s sister Margaret Leigh.

Every woman and her dog has the mn Marie. Give it a rest already. Hope is slightly too cheesy for me, and their reason for having it in the combo confirms the cheese. Lol.Nancy and Margaret, wahhh. It makes me sad to think that they got Naleigh out of that.

Wow, I think she'll have problems with the spelling. I read your post and didn't even notice it was Adalaide and not Adelaide. I think the A will be easily overlooked and people will always spell it Adelaide.I wonder whether they pronounce it AY-dah-laid or something. I guess not. It doesn't look terribly misspelled but I prefer Adelaide. I like the combo. I don't mind Nancy Leigh but I think Naleigh is really odd.

It's a nice name, but I also would have preferred the spelling Adelaide, given that it's an actual place and all that. I hate to see place names get misspelled.

I like it a lot more than Nancy "Naleigh" Leigh, but I don't like the spelling. I wonder if she's going to get a nickname like her sister.

I do like the name. Adelaide would have been a nicer spelling though.
