Thank you for all your responses!But I would like to know if it is similar to the name EdithBecause I dont really like it.But the nickname Edie works!

I wouldn't even compare it to Edith because Eden sounds bright and fun and nice and Edith sounds old and frumpy to me... and kinda ugly- though a little bit better than Ethel.

I don't think it's similar to Edith, except that you can use the nn Edie.
I like Edith a little more than Eden, but Eden is more my real-life style I think.
I would not put Eden and Edith in the same "style category."

I agree with that - Eden and Edith don't seem to be the same style, even though they sound pretty similar.
I do prefer Eden though.
