Ya' know, I kinda' like Kerby. It's fun to say. Wait, nevermind, my brain just connected it to the word curvy. It is now a person being called "curvy" through a thick accent. I'm so weird...I also rather like Mckenna. Oh gosh. :-\

Some of these aren't so bad. Emylie is pretty dumb (what is wrong with Emily???), as is Cherrokee, but Mckenna is practically standard, and I don't even bat an eyelid at BayLee now. Doesn't mean I like 'em, but they're not out of place with naming trends.Karmichael Hunt is a pretty famous footballer in Australia. A lot of my friends are in love with him. Ha. I also know a female Kirby my age. I find that totally fine. Kerby doesn't do anything for me but it's not terrible.

I can deal with alternate spellings on some names, as long as they're not ridiculous. Emylie in ridiculous, and BayLee in even worse. But seriously... if you are going to name your child after and Indian tribe, at least spell it right! There aren't really alternate spellings for those. At all.

Karmichael wouldn't be so bad IF it was spelled with a "C", but with a "K"...Emylie- what's wrong with Emily?
BayLee- what's wrong with Bailey? And capital "L"?
Mckenna- it's okay, don't love it, don't hate it.
Kerby- agreed.
Cherrokee- um...? Boy or girl?? If it's a girl, I guess "Cherry" would make it a little better, otherwise, why not use Cherokee...and why even use the name at all?

It's the mispelling of these names that's the problem. It would be better if spelled properly and I wouldn't have raged on them.

I like the sound of Mckenna but I don't like any of the spellings for it. Mckenna is probably the best though-- Mackenna, McKenna, and especially MacKenna look a bit tacky to me. I like Cherokee when it's spelled correctly and used on a pet (especially on a horse.)

Let me guess...Karmichael Lee is a girl. *shudders*The rest are all awful as well. Kirby wouldn't be so bad if it was on a boy and spelled correctly.

I think that Carmichael would of been okay especially if it was a family name. I don't think Mckenna is that bad (I still wouldn't use it) but the rest are horrible.

I wouldn't quite call that terrible. Carmichael would've been much better... not sure why they felt the need to spell it with a K. I don't like it, but hey, maybe it's a family surname for them. The rest of those names listed, on the other hand, are rather terrible.I don't think of Kirby as a strictly male name. The only ones I've known were girls, I suppose.

Kerby is a horrible spelling, but I would never call Kirby a male name. Yes it's a surname, but not a patronymic one. It's a place name meaning "church town". Definitely unisex. The others are nmsaa.

Those are bad.I know a McKenna. She's in her late 20s now.I knew a Kirby--a girl. She was nuts. I know a Cherokee. He pulls the name off well. But it's spelled right.
