I really like Wesley, but I don't like Westley or West. Sticking that T in there sure makes a difference--Westley just seems dumb and pretentious.
I don't pronounce Wesley and Westley the same....Wesley has no T sound in the middle and Westley does.
I've only known one Wesley, my daughter's fiance, but the only way to really tell is the popularity charts.
