I just need to say that Brandon on a woman is not cool in my book..very not cool.
As to Smith for a first name, it seemed very weird to me at first. Though it looks kre8tiv, I think I would like the old world-ish Smythe a tad better if we're talking about using it as a first name.
After seeing Smith used a few times it seems less odd, but at the same time, it seems like a creative cop out. Smith HAS TO be at least in the top 3 of most popular last names in the US, so while it's different as a first name it isn't really all that innovative except in it's place in the line up. Overall it doesn't really encite much excitement in any direction... it just is.
