Jade and Jane are both nice. Just depends what you're pairing it with.
I don't know that you can necessarily define what someone of a particular name will necessarily be like. I don't think of Jade as trashy at all.
Jade's moderately common, but not as ridiculous as some. You could pair it w/ something that works well as a double name just to make sure she's distinguishable from other Jades if you so choose.
