While Erin was there for the next three weeks with her college class, they met up and got to know each other. After her time in France, Nic visited her at her school in the US. A year later, Nic made it official and proposed.
Now, with a year of marriage behind them, Nic and Erin are attending a family reunion at Nic’s family vineyard in the Bordeaux wine region. Nic and Erin have decided that since Nic makes enough as a scientist, that Erin will stay at home when children come into the mix. They live near his family’s vineyard in Bordeaux.
It’s been a year since the reunion at which Erin and Nic had a blast hanging out with all his family. Three months after the reunion, Erin discovered she was pregnant and now they have welcomed a little girl into the family. It was a complete surprise as they weren’t expecting a child so soon. Marie has blonde curly hair and hazel eyes.
Now, Marie is a year old, Nic brought home a baby guinea pig that one of his co-workers was giving away. They have named him Butterscotch as it’s orange, white and cream.
When Marie was close to turning two, Nic and Erin discovered they were pregnant again. They were excited to learn it was another little girl. Marie was excited to learn she was getting a sister. Esmé has red curly hair with hazel eyes.
Esmé had just turned one and Marie had turned three, Erin adopted a stray kitten she had found at their doorstep. They named her Miss Whiskers or Missy for short.
When Marie was about three years old and Esmé was about one, Erin and Nic decided to try to adopt a little boy so the girls would have a brother. A year later the adoption came through and they welcomed a little boy from Russia. He has blonde curly hair with hazel eyes. Gabe is the same age as Marie, four years old.
A year later, Marie and Gabe had turned five, Esmé had turned three, Erin again found herself pregnant. They learned it was another little girl. Soon they welcomed her into the family. Bella has red straight hair with green eyes.

The whole Bureau family can’t wait to see what happens in the next few years as it’s been a pretty eventful few years.
