Katharine is usable. Just say Katharine with an a or Katharine spelled like Katharine Hepburn. I prefer Katherine, however, Katharine isn't bad at all. It works for Katharine McPhee (former American Idol contestant and "Smash" co-star). I don't think the spelling is too out there.
