Loving on both Victoria and Tabitha lately. What are your thoughts on each name? For Victoria, do you like the nicknames Vika, Tori, or any others? For Tabitha, what nicknames would you use besides Tabby or Tibby?Of these Victoria combos, please pick your favorite and least favorite (and tell me why!). Combos for either are also welcome!Victoria May

Victoria June
Victoria Wren

Victoria and Tabitha are both lovely, sophisticated-sounding names. I like Tori and Toria as nicknames for Victoria.Tib would be cute as a nickname for Tabitha. There's also Bith, which I like, but it's unfortunately close to a 5-letter insult.Victoria Wren is my favorite. Wren is simple, yet underused. It evokes images of a countryside manor surrounded by a moor with chirping birds flying and hopping about. It's a peaceful name.

Victoria really grew on me the past few months. I think it's really nice and strikes a good balance- it's familiar, but I don't meet very many. I generally dislike the nicknames for it, and that's what holds me back from falling totally in love with it. I suppose Tori is okay, but none of the others.I love Tabitha. I think it's quirky without being too over-the-top, and I've never met one. Again, nicknames are an issue for me with this name. I don't care for Tibby and Tabby. Someone once suggested Beth to me, and I suppose it could work at a stretch. Even Tab/s would be preferable to Tabby.
ETA: Someone below suggested Abi, which I really like!Wow, Victoria matches really well with a lot of names, doesn't it? All of your combos are pretty nice.Favorite: Victoria May. I almost went with Victoria June, because I adore June, but I think May gives the combo a lightness you don't get with June. Victoria isn't really a "heavy" name, but it sounds mature and stately, so May freshens it up.Least favorite: Victoria Rosalie. It's just too many syllables and a bit too frilly.

Like both. Fave nn for Victoria is Tori.Victoria June is my least fave... I just don't like June as a name. It's acceptable as a name... just unappealing... kinda old and frumpy.

I like Tabitha a lot! Victoria's ok. Vika's a different nickname for her I never considered. Tori is cute, and I like the idea of a Victoria going by Victor I must say. Tabitha nicknames... what about Bitsy? That's more of a pet name I guess. Bitha? uhhh. I like Victoria Faye. It just appeals to my eye, got a nice sense of balance to it or something, and helps me not get bored with Victoria, which I feel an aversion to because it's like it's supposed to be this irreproachably beautiful name that I have to admire and respect and I don't wanna. You can't tell me how to feel, Victoria!Victoria Susan is nice too, I like how humble Susan is, it makes the combo look human.

I like both names, but neither one are favorites. Tori is my favorite nickname for Victoria. I think Tabs is cute for Tabitha or Tabby Cat. XDMy favorite combo is Victoria Rosalie, because it's very elegant and beautiful. My least favorite is Victoria Wren, because I don't like Wren.

I've never liked Victoria nor any of its nicknames. It's just such a cold name. If I felt like I had to use Victoria for some reason, I'd opt for Vittoria instead, and I'd use Vita as an occasional nickname. I feel like Vittoria has more warmth and spirit than Victoria. Most favorite: Victoria Faye. Faye softens Victoria some. I like Victoria June for the same reason.
Least favorite: Victoria Hazel. Cold Victoria emphasizes the dreary "haze" in Hazel. Love Tabitha. I like Tab(s) and Tib(s), but if you're looking for nicknames farther afield, there's Abi, Beth (I think it could work), and Bitsy, which is good kitschy fun.

I like Victoria, but I don't really like Tabitha. For Victoria, I like Vika the best, then Tori. I wouldn't really use any other nick names. And for Tabitha... I don't really know. Just Tabitha, I suppose. Or as someone said earlier, Abby. That's nice.I really like Victoria Rosalie. It's really pretty and elegant. My least favorite is probably Victoria Holly. I don't know why. I guess Holly just doesn't go well with Victoria. They're too different from each other.

I strongly dislike Victoria and always have. I dislike the uppity-royal-type feel of it. Vika is a neat nickname for it thought. And Tori is fine too. Both are better than Vicky, if only because they are a bit more creative.Of your Victoria combos, Victoria Hazel caught my attention. It's unexpected, which I like. Victoria May would be an easy favourite too, as I love May (especially Mae) in the middle. My least favourite would be Victoria Rosalie. It just sounds too long and frilly. Tabitha, Tabitha, Tabitha. I love it! Why on earth would you need a nickname besids Tibby. Tibby is glorious!! But since you asked: Taba? Tiba? T? Bitsy?Using your middle names from Victoria, what about Tabitha June? If you're into letter nicknames, this also provides TJ as an option.

Ooooh. I like Tabitha June. A lot. :D It's really soft and still kind of spunky and unexpected. Then again, the whole point of liking Tabitha is that it's unexpected and oddly spunky!

Yay!
Unexpected is glorious, in my books.

Favourite: Victoria Susan- I think it flows well and Susan is pretty and underused these days.Least favourite: Victoria Claire- Not as interesting as the other combos. For Victoria I like the nicknames Ria and Toria. I can't think of any other nicknames for Tabitha besides Tabby or Tibby.

As you know I love Victoria and Tabitha has always been one of my faves as well. Unfortunately I have a cousin named Tabitha so I can't use it. I do not like the NN Vika or Vicki but Tori is ok. Both of my kids have NN unrelated to their names so if I used Victoria I would probably pick a NN that was unrelated to it as well. As far as your combos go...Victoria May - I prefer the Mae spelling but I love this combo
Victoria Hazel - I don't really care for Hazel at all
Victoria Holly - prefer Holly as a first name
Victoria Faye - I prefer this spelling and it is a family name for me
Victoria June - I don't care for June
Victoria Wren - I really like this combo
Victoria Rosalie - very pretty
Victoria Claire - see above
Victoria Susan - I don't care for Susan but think that Victoria Suzanne would be niceBTW I have heard Abi as a NN for Tabitha in fact my dad has always called my cousin Abi-Tae.
