I love it! It's one of my favourites too. I have a vague memory of being told it means 'fly like a bird' or something of that sort, which I think is lovely. I like combining out-there/unusual names with traditional middle names, so I'd suggeset: Elizabeth, Charlotte, Catherine, Kate, Alice etc. My only problem with this name is that the most obvious nickname is Zippy, which I don't like.

I quite like it actually... Moses' wife is my first association and then another doula I knew when still in Canada.

Love it. I know people make fun of the "zip" part, but it's sort of a cute nickname... Zippy. I think it's strong but sweet.

It was my favorite for a long time. It's still nice for someone else but I don't like it much anymore. I like Zippy and Zipporah is very spunky. So if you like it go for it!
