Brittany - I pronounce it with three syllables
Alana / Alanna / Alannah - I pronounce all like ah-LAH-na
Alyssa & Elissa - Slightly different sounds but v. similar. Elissa has a more pronounced EL sound.
Erin & Aaron - No, these names aren't pronounced the same to me. Both have short vowel sounds at the start but different vowels. Erin is EH-rin, where Aaron is like A-rən.
Carrie & Kerry - Again these sound completely different to me. Carrie is like KA-ree and Kerry is like KER-ee.
I'm in the UK.
