I am a Laura. I was born in the 90s, and I've never felt like my name belongs to the 80s. When I think "typical 80s name," I think Tiffany, Heather, Stephanie, Amanda, etc. Aside from myself, I know a BOATLOAD of other Lauras. They're EVERYWHERE in my age group. I cannot stand the alternative Lauren, which does feel like an 80s and 90s name. I consider my name a classic and I love having it.
