Honestly, I still think of Max as a dog's name first, and then a boy's. It could work on a little girl and be rather sweet, but like any boyish name, it might not transfer well into womanhood.
Maxie sounds less stark and more gender-neutral. I really don't think any of those longer names you have created are feasible. They'd be a vehicle for calling a girl Max, but what if she wanted to use the longer name? Would you be happy to address her as Maxamelia?
I do think Max could work as the second part of a hyphenated name, like Anna-Max. I have met an Emma-Jack. And I'm predisposed to liking double first names :)
