[Opinions] Celebrity BA... sort of
I searched and apparently this was never posted.
Forever and ever ago, Jason Lee and his wife had a daughter and considering his son is named Pilot Inspektor, everyone wanted to know what they named their daughter. But they never announced it. Anyway, she's 3 years old now and her name was announced in November.
It'sCasper Alice

Lol, that was a nice buildup you gave there. Like a well-told joke. I laughed.Tacky. I just think it's so tacky, to name females with names that are traditionally masculine. It's like using uncommon occupational surnames for boys - Cooper, Sawyer, Ryder, Booker - gives me an impression of a camped-up performance of spunkitoughness.

I like it. I know it's weird. But I still really like it. I would like it even more if it was a double name, Casper-Alice. It's so provoking in such a genteel way. And completely strange-charming.

I actually don't mind it that much either. And yeah, I think even Casper-Alice has bit more charm.Casper sounds more feminine than Maxwell (blech!) - if you missed my Celeb BAs post the other day, this is what Lindsey Sloane named her daughter (http://www.behindthename.com/bb/baby/4229401). At least she can go by Cassie. It's not a nickname I like at all but at least it feminizes Casper ok

Alice is nice. I don't like Casper at all but especially not on a girl. Better than Pilot Inspektor though. At least they are names and they are spelled right. She could always go by Alice when she is older. There really isn't a good nickname or alternative for her poor brother.

Casper is 100% totally male for me, no ifs ands or buts about it. Alice is nice, but honestly, this is worse than Pilot Inspektor imho.

I love the name Alice. It's very sweet and not a name I hear often.
I don't like Casper for a few reasons. I'm very big on feminine names for girls and masculine names for boys. I personally dislike unisex names [Preference]... now I'm not saying Casper is unisex I'm just saying it doesn't sound very feminine at all for a girl. [As it's not] I use to watch "Casper the friendly ghost" as a child and I admit.. I think of him. I simply don't like it for a girl... but I love Alice. Gorgeous! Also it reminds me of my mothers maiden name which is very similar.. it's Kasper.
