[Opinions] Spelling and pronounciation?
In my many hours of browsing baby name sites, I came across the name Maliya and I am quite liking it right now. I am pronouncing it Ma-LEE-uh or Ma-LEE-a, depending on how fast I say it.My question is which spelling do you prefer?Maliya
Maliyah
Malia
Maliah
Maleah
- or a different suggestion? And also how do you pronounce it?Thanks in advance :-)

Mollia, Molliya, Molleah (I think the 'a' with get you a as in bat rather than a as in ball)

I really dislike it.And I don't think spelling it in random ways makes it better. Malia is the only spelling I can stand - its simple and an actual name.

Maleah is listed as a version on Malia on this website. I just came across Maliya and liked the way it sounded. Came here and found Malia and Maleah versions. Thanks for your opinion.

I'm not a big fan of the name, but I would spell it Malia or Maliya. Those spellings look cleanest to me. The H in Maliyah is superfluous, and Maleah looks like "Ma Leah" or "my Leah" rather than like a name.I pronunce it the same way you do, and I knew a very nice girl named Maliya, if that adds to the name in any way for you.Array
