I think the person who said Yugoslavia was not far out. Bulgaria has both a moutain and lake called Gazey. Many of my Gazey relatives have large squarish heads, heavy boned frame and wide bridges to their noses as is common in people from that part of the world so this could be proof of sorts. Having had my DNA tested in came up with Eurasian ancestery so it is possible. Of course the one thing I can't find out is how long the lake and mountain have borne this name.
